Kokoro #116 - Tree BonesI find it interesting how often some of our favorite photographs are ones that simply don't connect with a very broad audience. This image is one of those. I just love this broken tree and its dance-like gestures. I've printed this a number of times and shown it to a fair number of people — none of whom seem to connect with it at all. I've decided not to let such things bother me. We have to photograph from our heart, and recognize that this sometimes means we are the only audience who will appreciate one of our photographs.
