Kokoro #117 - Earth NudesI've photographed the Painted Hills in Central Oregon probably a dozen times — never once making a photograph I was interested in showing anyone. This last time, however, the images were so soft and the lighting so flat that I knew they were going to require heavy post-processing. Playing around with alternatives, I suddenly realized these were very organic, even reminding me vaguely of the human form. The project was born. Some very heavy-handed post processing pushed these images even closer to what I was seeing in my mind's eye. Trust me, the Painted Hills don't look like this at all, but you can see that for yourself in the original linked below.
