Uncle Timon's KeysMy wife's Uncle Timon — the quintessential North Dakota, Norwegian bachelor farmer — was a collector of stuff and junk. On his farm, he had
buildings of stuff he'd picked up here and there during his seventy odd years. He'd say it was "wort' t'ousands." After he passed away, it was all sold. Turns out, he was right — it
was worth thousands and thousands.
These keys (a small portion of the total) were hanging on the wall of his kitchen, just like this — a symbol of the story of his life.
