My friend Joe Lipka and I were on a photographic outing to make abstracts and landscape images. Architecture was the farthest thing from our agenda or my mind — but then we stumbled on this old, unoccupied, classic, four-story, turn-of-the-century building. Its last occupants were the U.S. Military who used it as officer's quarters in WWII. For two days we followed the light as it danced on the once-opulent woodwork.
