We all, from time to time, feel isolated, alone, lost. This is not always a bad thing. Sometimes, it's a useful "reality check" to see ourselves in the context of the universe. I was thinking about all this when this seagull just happened to fly into view as I was photographing the patterns in the water. I do believe in luck.
