From Kokoro #086 - Scrub Brush

Most photographs have a well-defined subject. What is the subject in this composition? I would propose that there really isn't one. Perhaps it's the space, or the random distribution of vegetation. Frederick Sommer made images like this in the middle years of the 20th century and they must have made an impression on me. This is only one of many of this type of composition I have. It's a pattern that fascinates me, not a thing.
