From
Kokoro #016 - Uncle KennyI know that many of you have probably seen this image — and this project — in its original form as the handmade chapbook or its PDF equivalent. It may seem odd to see the same content repeated again here in
Kokoro.
In truth, I didn't hesitate to include this even though it may be a repeat for some of you. Many
more people are not familiar with it because I've only produced about 40 copies of the chapbook.
We live in an age where people's viewing habits are so determined by their choice of media. Essentially, I might propose that photographers are well served by producing their work in multiple forms of media to appeal to various audiences who may not cross-pollinate. Perhaps I express that poorly, but I think you get the point.
Uncle Kenny has found a far greater audience in
Kokoro than it would ever find as a chapbook — and that pleases me greatly.
