least wide angle — 13mm (the equivalent of a 26mm on a 35mm camera). For this type of photography where I'm trying to tell a bit of a story, it's ideal for showing context.
In this image, both the workman can be seen in a way that makes the rest of the images in this little story relate to one another. I was lucky in that the workman in the back happened to be picking up his finished bamboo pole just as the workman in the foreground was eyeing his next specimen, next to the waiting pile. I couldn't have planned it better if I tried.
