From Kokoro #060 - Separate Ways

Black and white is its own medium and not every image works well with only a monochrome rendition. Back in my film days, I didn't have the ready luxury of deciding this later, after playing around with post-processing. We stuck the film in the camera and were pretty much committed at that point. But now! I know very few photographers who work exclusively in black-and-white or exclusively in color.

This image converted beautifully to black and white. The glass figurine just glows from an internal reflection. In fact, this image was the determining one in my decision to present this installment of Kokoro as black and white project.
