From Kokoro #070 - Nothing Special

Photographed at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. The figures are, of course, the thing I was supposed to be looking at — and they were interesting. But the lighting was what caught my photographer's eye.

In particular, I became fascinated how the angle of the spotlights changed the shape of the shadows. I could almost project that the shadows were an alter-ego of some kind, often striking a much different pose than the statue would suggest. A few other examples are in the link below.
