From
Kokoro #103 - Deep Forest FernThis image comes from a new project, that is to say a new
challenge in my photography. I've wondered for a long time why there are no great photographers of the Pacific northwest landscape. It's a difficult landscape, and I'm trying to figure out how to photograph it. These dark images of ferns being highlighted by the shaft of a sunbeam are the first ones in this project I've been pleased with.
