Kokoro #109 - How Rosie Won the WarThere are times and instances when a new technology is a real life saver. The three-dimensionality of these vintage airplanes made it almost impossible to make these photographs using normal depth of field. I longed for my view camera and its tilts and swings. Fortunately, I could use focus stacking with my digital camera. This entire portfolio consists of images composited from 3 or 4 exposures in focus stacks. I'm not sure I could have done this with a view camera, but it was incredibly easy with today's technology.
